The larger of two airports near the island of Boracay is Kalibo International Airport (KLO). With a larger runway than Caticlan Airport, Kalibo Airport is better suited for International Arrivals. Airlines including Cebu Pacific Air, Air Asia, Philippine Airlines, and Tiger Air all fly to Kalibo International Airport.

Caticlan, or Godofredo P. Ramos Airport (MPH), is the smaller of the two airports near Boracay. Better suited for small aircraft, many domestic flights from Manila and Cebu arrive at Caticlan Airport. Cebu Pacific Air and Philppine Airlines fly to and from Manila and Cebu, while Sky Jet has flights from Manila only.

The best way to reach the island is via ferry from the Caticlan Jetty Port after arriving at either Caticlan Airport or Kalibo. Minivans, vans, buses and taxis shuttle passengers from the two airports to the jetty port. Be aware that the jetty port is located 80 minutes away from Kalibo International Airport. Once passengers arrive in Boracay, there are many forms of transportation including tricycles that will take them to their hotels.

Arrival by train directly to Boracay is not possible, and thus is not a recommended option. Should visitors choose to take a domestic train ride, they will still be forced to take a ferry to reach the island. Buses or vans from Manila to the Caticlan Jetty Port are cheaper and easier options.

The most cost effective way of reaching Boracay from Manila via Caticlan is by bus. The travel time, however, is around 12 hours total. Numerous public and private bus and van companies make daily trips to the Caticlan Jetty Port from metro Manila and Kalibo International Airport.

By Car

Getting to the island of Boracay by car is not possible. Parking is available near the Caticlan jetty port however, which allows visitors to leave their vehicles while reaching Boracay by ferry.

By Boat

The best way to reach the island is by ferry. The Caticlan Jetty Port has regular ferry services that shuttle passengers to Boracay. This is the most common and preferred option for most travelers. Reaching the Caticlan Jetty Port is simple from the Caticlan Airport, while it will take up to an hour and a half for those touching down at Kalibo International Airport to reach the ferry terminal.
